This is for a PDF Kumihimo pattern only and not for a physical necklace lei. The pattern is intended for confident beginners to intermediate braiders comfortable with Kongo Gumi (counted pattern) braid structure using beads on a Marudai or foam disk. This pattern will result in a 20’ to 23” long necklace – including a 10”- 12” Focal Section using 7mm x 8 mm Rose Petal glass beads (it can be longer or shorter by adjusting the number of beads used in the beginning and end sections). NOTE: Users should be comfortable with counted bead patterns, adjusting counterweights as you braid and dropping various shaped beads. I provide an option to do a 30 minute Zoom session with me to help you in the assembly or instruction of braiding.
